Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce Recipe


Serves: 12

• 24 Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts cubed
• 1 can (14 oz) condensed sweetened milk, not evaporated
• 2 can (15.25 oz each) fruit cocktail, undrained
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 box (9 oz) raisins
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 tsp (up to 2) ground cinnamon
• 1 stick butter
• 1 box (1lb)powdered sugar
• 1 rum to taste


Prep time:15 minutes
Cook time:60 minutes
Ready:75 minutes

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking dish
2 For the bread pudding: Place the doughnuts in a large bowl. Add to it sweetened condensed milk, eggs, raisins, fruit cocktail, salt and cinnamon and let it soak for few minutes. Mix until the doughnuts have soaked in completely. Pour this into the prepared baking dish
3.Bake this for an hour
4.For the butter rum sauce: Melt butter and slowly stir in powdered sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly. Pour this over each serving
