This scrumptious apple bread pudding is the perfect comfort food for a chilly autumn evening. The combination of apples, spices, and bread create a warm and satisfying dessert that is sure to please any crowd.

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp butter
• 2 cup apple, peeled and thinly sliced
• ½ cup chopped pecans
• ¼ cup raisins
• 4 cup bread cut into cubes
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 ¾ cup milk
• ¼ cup butter
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 eggs beaten
• ¼ cup white sugar
• ¼ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup milk
• ½ cup butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Prep time:15 minutes
Cooking time:50 minutes
Ready in:65 minutes

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degree F
2.For the bread puddings: Melt two tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the apples, pecan and raisins and sauté until the apples are tender. Drain the mix over an 11 x 7 baking dish. Grease the baking dish with butter from the apples and wipe off any excess. Place the bread in a large bowl and add the warm apples, raisins and pecans and set aside
3.Place the skillet over a medium heat and add a cup of brown sugar, 1 ¾ cup cups milk, ¼ cup butter, cinnamon, 1 tsp of vanilla extract and eggs. Slowly warm all of this, stirring slowly until the butter melts. Pour this over the bread mix
4.Bake for 40 to 50 minutes
5.For vanilla sauce: Mix in sugar, ½ cup milk, ¼ cup of brown sugar and along with it ½ cup butter together in a saucepan. Allow this to boil and remove from heat. Stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract and serve
