Classic Bread Pudding Recipe

This is a total comfort food and the favorite of most people. This classic bread pudding is easy to make and is made with simple ingredients that are usually found in the kitchens.


• 6 slices of day old bread
• 2 tbsp butter melted
• ½ cup raisins
• 4 eggs beaten
• 2 cup milk
• ¾ cup white sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ready:75 minutes

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f
2.Break the bread into small pieces and place it into an 8 inch square baking dish. Drizzle the melted butter over the bread. If you like raisins, then you can add them too
3.In a mixing bowl, mix together eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Beat them until they are blended well. Pour this over the bread and lightly push it down with a fork until the bread is covered with egg
4.Bake this in preheated oven for 45 minutes
